Hurricane Harvey Relief for the Arts
Helping sustain arts organizations and artists through a difficult time

The Texas Commission on the Arts, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, and the Mid-America Arts Alliance, has granted funding to accepting grant applications from nonprofit arts organizations (501-c-3) and professional artists impacted directly by Hurricane Harvey to assist with business interruption costs (e.g.  rental of venues or equipment; costs associated with relocation/remounting of artistic programs;  repair and conservation of artistic/cultural materials; purchase of replacement office equipment under $5,000) not covered by another source. 

Eligibility:  Texas-based nonprofit (501-c-3) organizations and professional artists impacted by Hurricane Harvey (located in one of the counties designated by FEMA).  TCA's general eligibility rules apply.

Deadline:
 All final reports are due no later than July 31, 2018.  

Note:  Expenses reported must be from November 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018
